Brigitte Boulard is a bilingual psychotherapist (French/English) specializing in supporting individuals and couples navigating the emotional impact of chronic illness, rare conditions, and life transitions. She has 15 years of clinical experience in hospital, rehabilitation, and private practice settings, in addition to 10 years of experience in community mental health intervention.
Brigitte helps clients adapt emotionally, communicate needs and boundaries, and strengthen relationships in the face of medical challenges. She has developed a particular interest in working with people living with hypermobility syndromes and rare disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), as well as their caregivers. She combines evidence-based psychotherapy approaches with a deep appreciation for each client’s unique life context, fostering resilience and a sense of agency.
Brigitte’s practice is rooted in compassion, clinical rigor, and inclusivity, welcoming clients from LGBTQ2S+, neurodiverse, and culturally diverse backgrounds.
